News Item: Bann Hire & Sales Wins Plant Hire Company of the Year at 2025 Plant & Civil Engineer Awards
Bann Hire & Sales achieved the title of Plant Hire Company of the Year at the 2025 Plant & Civil Engineer Awards.
The accolade, sponsored by Hire Association Europe (HAE), was presented at the prestigious ceremony in recognition of the company’s operational excellence and exceptional customer focus.
Bann Hire & Sales, consisting of three plant hire depots in Portadown, Banbridge and Lisburn, has been in existence since 2006. The company operates a wide and varied fleet, and has invested heavily in improvement across the pipeline over the past 12 months.
The judges praised Bann Hire & Sales’ “fleet of more than three thousand machines, solar-powered depots, and AI-driven safety systems” and added that “it continues to lead with professionalism, reliability, and innovation.”
Returning to the Crowne Plaza Belfast, Shaw’s Bridge, the Plant & Civil Engineer Awards ceremony was compered by TV and radio sports presenter, Adrian Logan, and attracted 400-plus industry leaders who gathered for the unveiling of the 18 categories.
Organised by Hillsborough-based publishers of Plant & Civil Engineer, 4SM (NI) Ltd, the annual event has cemented its reputation as a must-attend celebration of the excellence and dedication that drive the plant, construction, and civil engineering industries forward.
