News Item: Point of Rental Celebrates Giving with The Cowshed
Point of Rental has reinforced its commitment to community engagement through a hands-on partnership with The Cowshed, a Berkshire-based charity supporting individuals and families facing hardship.
Point of Rental’s UK team completed three on-site volunteer days totalling more than 100 man-hours in 2025, assisting with donation organisation, storage logistics, and seasonal displays. Additional volunteer groups supported large-scale clothing moves and helped prepare themed areas for children, including Halloween and holiday initiatives.
As part of The Cowshed’s Christmas Project, Point of Rental employees also participated in a Giving Tree initiative, purchasing gifts directly for children in need. Team members supported gift preparation efforts to help ensure children across Berkshire received Christmas presents.
The Cowshed provides essential items, including clothing, bedding, school uniforms, and baby equipment, to people affected by domestic abuse, emergency rehousing, homelessness, and health-related poverty across the region.
The partnership holds particular significance for Toby Green, a member of Point of Rental’s UK support team, who previously benefited from The Cowshed’s services.
“The support I received from The Cowshed helped me get back on my feet,” said Green. “Being able to give back through Point of Rental is incredibly meaningful, and I’m proud to see the company support an organisation that truly changes lives.”
Point of Rental reflects its core values within the communities where it operates through its charitable arm, Point the Way, and employee efforts around the world. In addition to the company’s work with The Cowshed, the company spent 500+ hours cleaning up communities last year, feeding people, providing clothing, sharing technology, and more.
