News Item: Plant Industry CEO and Charity Founder Awarded Honorary Fellowship
In August 2025, the Royal Scottish Geographical Society (RSGS) presented an Honorary Fellowship to Jeremy Fish, CEO of Ardent Hire Solutions.
RSGS aims to support and develop geographical research and exploration, as well as focussing on climate issues and other matters of global concern. This award comes in recognition of Jeremy’s work in support of Ukraine since the Russian invasion, and the subsequent formation of the Plant & Hire Aid Alliance charity.
Jeremy’s work supporting Ukraine began early on, by organising the delivery of generators to areas cut off from power and heating, and has gone on to include the provision of food, supplies, and donations of gift-wrapped toys for refugee children at Christmas.
Jeremy also volunteers with Raleigh International, a benevolent organisation that supports young people looking for volunteer work overseas, tackling deforestation and other conservation projects.
The PR team at Raleigh International had this to say: “We’re proud to congratulate Jeremy Fish on being awarded an Honorary Fellowship of the Royal Scottish Geographical Society in recognition of his incredible work both through The Plant and Hire Aid Alliance in Ukraine and here at Raleigh International.
“Jeremy has been part of our community for 14 years, serving as Chair for the Raleigh Alumni body.”
Paul Gaze, HAE EHA CEO said, “On behalf of members of the Hire Association, we would like to congratulate Jeremy Fish for his unwavering support in helping develop young people and supporting humanitarian efforts. We congratulate him on the recognition of his charitable work and on receiving the RSGS Fellowship.”
