Rob Pullen, Operations Director, MHM Group
Co-opted to the HAE EHA Supply Chain Board 2022
Rob Pullen is the Operations Director for MHM Group and joined the company thirteen years ago as their Operations Manager, having previously held a number of senior positions within a leading power generation company. Rob boasts over sixteen years in the industry, both as a supplier and a hirer.
Having a particular focus on green energy, Rob is working hard to ensure that MHM Group is able to achieve carbon neutral status by 2025 and maintaining MHM’s position as a market leader in innovation and eco-friendly product development. His main motivation is to advance the use of telematics in fleet management, while also aiming to become a leading figure in automating and digitising the hire industry for the future.
Rob has a keen grasp on health and safety issues, particularly within the supply of solar hybrid and traditional power generation machinery, fluid storage, site lighting and associated equipment. In addition, his background in spare parts and maintenance means he has a strong appreciation of all technical matters and is keen to impart his knowledge.
As MHM Group only hire their equipment to bona fide UK and Irish hire firms, Rob spends the majority of his time liaising with hire companies. This gives him a unique insight into the issues that the industry confronts on a daily basis.
Rob is currently a member of the Hire Association Europe & Event Hire Association’s (EHA) Technical Health and Safety Panel. HAE & EHA are the leading trade associations representing plant, tool, equipment and specialist event hire.
