Paul Ludlow

Regional Sales Manager, PASMA Training Instructor, Euro Towers

Standing for Re-election to HAE EHA Supply Chain Board 2021

I am an enthusiastic and dedicated professional working up to Senior Management level with an extensive background in multi-site operations, retail, sales and management. Throughout my career I have consistently shown the ability to build excellent relationships with both internal and external partners, delivering strong customer service skills at all levels. I am self-motivated, commercial, analytical, hardworking, diligent and passionate about each business I have been involved with. I have experience of full P&L responsibility and working towards KPI’s and Service Level Agreements.

I started in Tool Hire with HSS back in 1991 as a Hire Controller working my way up to Regional Manager within 6 years. I was then involved with the evolving HSS Lift & Shift division at its inception which included setting up the business with systems and procedures required for Lifting Equipment. I was also involved in the introduction of the first Scissor Lifts and Boom Lifts (MEWPS) entering the UK as a Hire product. I became one of the first IPAF users. I have 6 years experience within the Non Mechanical Equipment Hire and Sales Market along with 2 years working with European Manufacturing companies based in Netherlands and Germany.

In my current role at Euro Towers I visit National and Independent Tool Hire Companies on a daily basis and have developed relationships to find out what is going on in their business and what effects them. Based on my background and knowledge I believe this makes me a good foot soldier for the Hire Companies and feedback for the HAE Group. I have many active relationships with other suppliers to the Hire Industry and employees within the HAE. I am also a PASMA Instructor and qualified to discuss Working at Height issues.

I am a very energetic and confident person and would look to bring ideas, discussion, feedback and results to the HAE Group. I have a desire to make an impact for the Hire Industry in general and I have a voice and opinions to make myself heard for the benefit of all parties whilst retaining a sense of balance and humour.

I have served as a member of the Supply Chain Board for 2 years and I would like to be involved in becoming more active in my role and offer more substantive support to the organisation moving forward if I was re-elected.
