Alide Hire Services says Farewell to Graf and Welcomes New Team Members
In January, Bath-based company Alide Hire Services bade farewell to company director Gareth Hayward, or Graf as he's known to most, who retired after 37 years.
Graf started his Alide journey on the hire desk at their Bristol depot in 1984, before becoming the depot manager. The picture shows him on the right, with fellow Director Shaun Thompson back at the very beginning. Gareth's vision was to make Alide Hire Services a business founded on quality and service unlike any other company, a vision that remains stronger than ever for their team, in the company's 40th year of trading.
Sales Director James Mulrooney said: "We all wish Graf a very happy retirement, he will be missed by all the team."
To meet customer demand Alide Hire Services also need to grow and have introduced two new customer-focused area sales managers, to help with managing customer relationships and to grow the business. Ben Savage, who will cover the Bristol Area, has a 20-year background in construction working closely with builders and builders merchants all over the South West.
Joining him is Nick Lewis who will cover the Bath area. Nick has a 10-year background in construction and a strong track record for building customer relationships.

James Mulrooney added, "We are pleased to introduce our two new team members, I know they are both looking forward to getting out there and meeting you all soon."
