More than 1.6 million visitors came together in Belfast for Fleadh Cheoil na hÉireann 2026, as the city hosted one of Ireland’s biggest events. From the first stage build to the final performance, delivering an event of this scale required months of planning and the coordinated efforts of teams working across the city.

Working alongside Belfast City Council, Sunbelt Rentals UK & Ireland helped deliver the temporary infrastructure that supported one of the world’s largest celebrations of Irish music, providing temporary electrical installations, power distribution, lighting towers, barriers & fencing, access solutions, temporary roadway systems, plant equipment and fuel management across multiple locations.

The Fleadh took place alongside a wider programme of events across Belfast. During the same period, Sunbelt Rentals supported a number of arts festivals and events across the city, providing infrastructure for temporary visitor accommodation and temporary power for the Continental Market’s.
