News Item: Niftylift Introduces MyNifty, a New QR-Driven Machine Support Platform

Niftylift has introduced MyNifty, a new machine-specific support hub that brings together manuals, technical documentation, troubleshooting tools and video guidance in a single online platform.

Accessible via QR code scanning or serial number search, MyNifty is designed to make machine information easier to access for operators, hire companies and service personnel, helping them find the information they need quickly and efficiently.

Available through the Support section of the Niftylift website, MyNifty provides a dedicated support page for each machine model. Users can access machine-specific information by scanning the QR code located on a machine’s serial plate or by entering the machine serial number online.

Depending on the machine, a MyNifty page may include:

  • Operating and Safety Manuals
  • Service and Parts Manuals
  • Technical drawings and schematics (login required for some documents)
  • Error code look-up
  • Cage overload override reset codes
  • NiftyPRO video content for that model, including Familiarisation, Quick Start, Emergency Recovery, Charging, and Loading and Lashing guidance
  • The new platform consolidates several existing Niftylift support resources into a single machine-focused portal while introducing new functionality, most notably model-specific NiftyPRO video guidance.

A key feature of MyNifty is its QR-driven accessibility. Most Niftylift machines currently in service already feature QR codes on their serial plates, allowing users to access machine-specific support information directly from the equipment using a mobile device. Older machines fitted with serial-number QR codes can access the same functionality via the QR search tool available on the Niftylift website.

MyNifty has been developed to support a wide range of users. Operators can access familiarisation, operating and emergency recovery guidance. Hire companies can use it to support machine handovers and customer enquiries. Service engineers can quickly locate technical documentation, troubleshooting information and maintenance resources specific to the machine they are working on.

The platform currently provides support coverage for Niftylift machines spanning approximately the last twenty years, encompassing the vast majority of machines still operating in the field today. NiftyPRO video content is currently available for Niftylift’s self-propelled range, with additional product ranges planned for future inclusion.

MyNifty also complements Niftylink®, Niftylift’s telematics platform. While Niftylink helps owners and fleet managers monitor machine status, utilisation and maintenance priorities, MyNifty provides the documentation, guidance and support resources needed to act on that information.

Simon Maher, Marketing Manager at Niftylift, said: “Whether someone is preparing a machine for hire, supporting an operator on site or diagnosing a fault in the workshop, they need quick access to accurate information. MyNifty has been developed to make that process as simple as possible.

“By bringing together manuals, technical documents, troubleshooting tools and video guidance in a single machine-specific portal, MyNifty helps users find the right information faster and supports safer, more efficient machine operation.”
