News Item: HireSecure Recognised at the Association Excellence Awards

In 2022 HAE EHA won first prize at the Association Excellence Awards (AEA), in the ‘Best Longstanding Event by an Association’ category for the Hire Awards of Excellence.

The awards aim to celebrate and champion the important work trade associations carry out to support companies and improve an industry.

Spurred on by previous success the association entered the AEA in 2023 and is delighted to announce it has been recognised again, alongside partners Towergate Insurance Brokers, this time taking home a bronze prize in the ‘Best Association Partnership or Collaboration‘ category, for HireSecure.

The judges were looking for evidence of true cooperation between the association and a partner organisation, for products and services that were well researched and promoted with high rates of adoption from members. HAE EHA’s entry demonstrated the resources made available to members to assist in taking up HireSecure, and the ease of delivery to their customers.

HireSecure uses a Short Term Hire Insurance and Loss & Damage Waiver Option combined with HAE EHA’s Terms and Conditions. Since October 2021, HAE Insurance Services and EHA Insurance Services have signed up more members than the previous provider achieved in 20 years of operation. More than 165 members are currently utilising HireSecure, protecting their assets and offering cover and protection for their clients and customers. This greater than 30% increase in adoption was also instrumental in achieving the award.

The AEA was hosted by TV personality, writer and comedian Shappi Khorsandi who’s career has included appearances on programmes like Mock the Week, Have I got News for You and QI, not to mention an impressive stand-up career spanning three decades.

HAE EHA Chief Executive Paul Gaze said of the win, “We were delighted to be recognised at the Association Awards of Excellence for the introduction of HireSecure. This new innovative product has made a real difference for our members and their customers.”
