Plant Hire Week is part of European Rental Week, organised by the European Rental Association (ERA)
Plant Hire Week takes place in the UK and Republic of Ireland. The event is in its third year and in 2025 the theme is:
Empowering the Future: Transition, Sustainability, People
The event will highlight our industry’s commitment to innovation, environmental responsibility, and the talented people powering the equipment rental sector, with the aim to a memorable and impactful celebration of the industry’s achievements and forward-looking vision.
HAE is part of ERA and as such will support European Rental Week with campaigning and activities that champion these values. For our part the focus will be on people development and careers in the hire industry, a sector with an ever-widening skills gap and pressing need for fresh recruits and talent.
Members of our team and our board have come forward with some words of encouragement for potential hire sector recruits; how to stay on top of hire sector career opportunities, the sheer range of job options available, and training and e-learning programmes including our unique, free-of-charge Introduction to Hire course.
