The certification process

Members looking for certification will first need to implement their management system in line with the required ISO standard(s). This implementation is not something 3core² can directly assist members with, as they must remain independent and impartial. However, if you need guidance on implementation please still get in touch and we can point you in the right direction.

When ready for certification, 3core² will conduct an initial audit. The initial audit process is conducted in two stages:

Stage 1: A review of the management system documentation to determine readiness for certification

Stage 2: A full process-based audit to evaluate the effectiveness of the management system

The benefit of a two-stage process is that stage 1 will identify any significant weaknesses in the management system, which members can then address prior to stage 2 being conducted.

Remember, audits are not a pass or fail. If any areas of nonconformance are identified during stage 2, then there will be time to address these prior to certification. Following a successful initial audit (and an independent review by one of our qualified decision makers), your certification will be granted!
