Paul Gaze
Chief Executive Officer
Paul is responsible for developing and driving the business strategy forward. This includes building and maintaining relationships with key influencers and stakeholders, and working with Government agencies to increase awareness and raise standards within the hire and rental industry.


Neil Bravery
Commercial Director
Neil leads the Commercial Team and holds responsibility for promoting the work of the association, developing and implementing strategies to increase membership and engagement with member services. Neil also leads campaigns with the aim to showcase the equipment hire sector as a career of choice.
Membership Services

Kelly Raven
Membership Services Operations
Kelly oversees all aspects of the association’s service operations to members and non-members through building and maintaining relationships and creating effective strategies for the take up of products and services. Kelly continuously reviews member benefits and maintains partner relationships.

Nikki Wyllie
Learning & Development Officer
Nikki is responsible for learning and development within the association, supporting members to identify training needs and plan any advancement required for employees. She also helps members access CITB grants and funding to support their training.

Lilian Robins
Membership Services Administrator
Lilian maintains relationships with members, handling engagement and renewal calls while showcasing the products and services available to members. She supports members with any incoming enquiries and strives to provide the best customer service possible.

Colette Jinks
Membership Services Administrator
Colette maintains relationships with members, handling engagement and renewal calls while showcasing the products and services available to members. She supports members with any incoming enquiries and strives to provide the best customer service possible.

Kyrah Franklin
Print Services Administrator
Kyrah is responsible for Direct and Print on Demand, helping members place orders and working with the association’s print partner to maintain stock levels. Kyrah also supports members with custom print including branded merchandise and sourcing new products.

Stuart Tyrrell
Marketing Officer
Stuart is the lead marketing contact for the association, holding responsibility for all internal and external communications; the website, news releases, e-shots and social media. Stuart also organises events, including conferences, golf days and the annual Hire Awards of Excellence.

Mandy Mills
Bookkeeper & Credit Control
Mandy is responsible for the care of our members and suppliers financial records, and keeping on top of outstanding debt. Mandy can help by providing statements, copy invoices, and handle any questions or queries about billing and payments.
Public Affairs

Mark Bradshaw
Director of Public Affairs
Mark is responsible for relations with the UK Government, other central agencies, as well as external and trade association partners. Mark covers a range of policy topics including Net Zero, equipment theft and fraud.
Certification Services

Carl Bartlett
Director Certification Services
Carl in his role as Director of Certification Services is responsible for the management of the SafeHire Private Industry Standard and SSIP approval certification, supporting member organisations continual improvement, observing industry best practice, and achieving Health and Safety compliance.

Chris Carter
Certification Services Coordinator
Chris orchestrates SafeHire audits, coordinating between HAE EHA members and the team of field-based Certification Services Auditors. Chris also manages certifications and is responsible for maintaining the SafeHire Integrated Management System.

Tammy Yates
Certification Services Administrator
Tammy works in tandem with the Certification Services Coordinator arranging SafeHire audits with our team of field-based Certification Services Auditors. She is also responsible for handling follow-up actions after SafeHire audits.

Alan Dean
Certification Services Auditor
Alan is an experienced Environmental, Health and Safety professional, serving as a SafeHire Auditor in the South of England, South Wales, Ireland and the Channel Islands since 2020. Alan carries out SSIP Core Criteria and HITS audits and has over 16 years’ experience with plant and tools, and employee and customer training.

Chris Williams
Certification Services Auditor
Chris is an experienced Environmental, Health and Safety professional, serving as a SafeHire Auditor in the Midlands of England, and the M1 corridor since 2011. Chris has served over 40 years in the hire industry with expertise in management, and training for hire and construction companies of all sizes.

Jamie Hill
Certification Services Auditor
Jamie works remotely, visiting members to carry out site audits as part of the SafeHire Certification process. The auditors work throughout the UK and Ireland and Jamie mainly visits members in the south-east of England.

Mark Forsyth
Certification Services Auditor
Mark is an experienced Environmental, Health and Safety professional, serving as a SafeHire Auditor in the North of England, Wales, and Northern Ireland since 2021. He has worked in hire for over 27 years with expertise in tools, equipment and health & safety training.
