News Item: Garic Expands with New Reading Depot to Support Lower-Carbon Construction Sites

Site managers across the South West are set to benefit from faster service and lower-carbon site operations as Garic, the UK’s leading welfare and site solutions provider, announces the opening of a new depot in Reading.

Located in Beenham, the purpose-built facility strengthens Garic’s ability to support infrastructure, construction, utilities and public sector customers with a full range of site welfare, power generation and environmental solutions—closer to where they are needed most.

The expansion follows Garic’s involvement in major projects, including HS2 in Oxford, and reflects growing demand for more sustainable, efficiently managed construction sites.

sWith transportation recognised as a significant contributor to both cost and carbon emissions, the Reading depot will reduce delivery distances, improving response times while helping customers minimise their environmental impact.

Garic has built a strong reputation over its 38-year history for combining practical innovation with a commitment to sustainability. Alongside supplying a comprehensive range of low-emission and carbon-reducing products, the business works closely with customers to improve site planning, reduce fuel use, and enhance overall operational efficiency.

Asif Latief, Chief Executive Officer at Garic, commented: “Sustainability is now a core priority for our customers. By investing in new depots closer to their projects, we’re helping them reduce emissions, operate more efficiently, and meet increasingly demanding environmental targets, without compromising productivity.”

To mark the opening, Garic will host two open days at the new Reading depot, providing customers with the opportunity to explore the latest in site welfare, power, and sustainability-led solutions:
