News Item: The New Hospital Programme; Ambitions for the Year Ahead Meeting with Build UK
The New Hospital Programme (NHP) was established in October 2020 as a commitment by the UK government to build 40 new hospitals by 2030. The programme is well underway and, to ensure its continued progress it’s vital that businesses of all sizes – including plant, tool and equipment hire companies – are able to contribute.
To further this Build UK, the leading representative organisation for the UK construction industry, is holding a meeting in partnership with the NHP and would like to invite key contacts within HAE member organisations to attend.
The New Hospital Programme: Ambitions for the Year Ahead meeting will include sessions and presentations that cover how companies across the UK, regardless of size, can get involved with the NHP.
The programme will see an investment of £37billion towards the construction of brand new hospitals and healthcare facilities. This will impact the supply chain with increases in materials and consumable sales, and equipment hire.
The meeting will take place online via Zoom, from 09:00 to 10:30am on Thursday 29th January 2026.
