SafeHire Certification - Done In The Spirit Of Assistance, Not Just Assessment

SafeHire Certification – “done in the spirit of assistance, not just assessment”
We recently received feedback from a member suggesting that they would ‘appreciate regular updates on issues that assessors have encountered that all hirers should be aware of’ so we’d like to remind you of the SafeHire Technical Bulletins that are available, to all members, via the website.
As the team of SafeHire Assessors encounter common areas of poor practice or, in some cases, equipment manufacturing issues, we bring this to the attention of the membership by authoring SafeHire Technical Bulletins.  These Bulletins are presented to the Technical, Health & Safety Panel for review, approval and sign-off prior to publication in order that good working practices can be adopted by the whole industry.
The 34 SafeHire Technical Bulletins currently available have recently been re-grouped on the website and now sit under the following headings:-

  • Electrical Equipment, including Generators
  • Mechanical Equipment
  • Plant and Powered Access
  • Non-Mechanical and Specialist Hire
  • Premises, Management and Retail
