PRESS RELEASE: Redpath Tool Hire is on the right path with MHM

Based in the Borders of Scotland, Redpath Tool Hire is currently expanding their range of generators due to increasing demand from clients throughout Scotland and the Border region.

The company, owned and managed by Alan Redpath, have over the past two years purchased a collection of 2.5kVA and 6.0kVA petrol and diesel sets from the South Wales headquartered supplier, MHM Plant. With the call for larger sets mounting, the company has now extended their hire fleet to include 20kVA sets, following a new investment in the MHM GE 20 SSY-MV, UK Rental Specification model.

Redpath Tool Hire have already secured a long term, 8-month, hire for one of the GE 20 SSY-MV sets with a well-established and renowned house builder.

Before the company selected MHM as their principal supplier of power generation machinery, they carried out an extensive evaluation of generators offered by other manufacturers. After the completion of this evaluation process, it became evident that MHM Plant led the way in meeting their technical and commercial criteria.  They have now finalised a long-term supply agreement with MHM alongside other key suppliers.

Alan Redpath explained,” We have been dealing with Mat and the team at MHM Plant for nearly two years now. They have demonstrated on numerous occasions their ability to deliver and support hires throughout Scotland whether it be hire or sale.”

Alan continued, “They have a fantastic technical team behind the scenes that complement the sales and rehire departments within MHM Plant and their service is unquestionable. We are already in advance discussions to support MHM Plant and promote their products throughout Scotland in the coming months.”

Redpath Tool Hire also takes advantage of the MHM re-hire service, which gives them enhanced coverage throughout Scotland. This service helps them to extend their range of supply without having to compromise any of their commercial confidentiality. They also have plans to add lighting towers alongside 33kVA, 45kVA and 60kVA generators to support the local event market in the Scottish Borders.

Redpath Tool Hire based in the town of Duns approximately 10 miles north of the border town of Coldstream. The company supplies a wide range of tools and plant throughout Scotland. Alan Redpath has a long pedigree in the hire industry, having held senior positions with A-Plant, GAP Hire Solutions and Speedy Services. He formed Redpath Tool Hire in 2014.

MHM has its head office in Port Talbot, South Wales and supplies a range of power generation machines from 3 to 100kVA, silent and super-silent, throughout the UK.  The company also operates a rehire service to rental companies wishing to provide a hire service to their clients without having to endure costly capital outlay.
