Paul joined Hire Association Europe (HAE) and Event Hire Association (EHA) team in the role of Commercial Manager where his responsibilities will centre on providing training courses suitable to the hire industry.

Paul has vast experience in working with trade associations to support the increase in their productivity and staff skills. He has also previously been directly involved in the CITB's Grant Reform Programme to develop the skills and productivity for the construction industry. Paul has experience of working with specialist employers, has supported the development of National Occupational Standards for National/Scottish Vocational Qualifications, Co-designed Specialist Apprenticeship Programmes and Up-skilling Programmes with industry and crucially; engaging with government agencies on projects.

Paul will be an excellent addition to the management team of HAE and most importantly be of great benefit to HAE and EHA members in training development and delivery.

Commenting on Paul’s appointment, Rupert Douglas-Jones, HAE EHA General Manager, said: “I am pleased Paul will be joining the Association to help us to enhance the products and services we offer to members and our overall support for the hire sector. I can think of nobody more qualified to assist HAE EHA members in helping get staff trained and claim any grants available to do so.
