PRESS RELEASE: MICROSOFT REWARDS JAAMA WITH BEST-IN-CLASS GOLD STANDARD
Jaama, the UK’s leading fleet industry asset management software system provider, has achieved best-in-class accreditation to the much sought after Microsoft Gold standard.
The company’s industry-leading, multi award-winning Key2 Vehicle Management software is built for the Microsoft.NET framework and using ‘Smart Client’ technology, gold competency demonstrates best-in-breed capability to its existing users and, importantly, new prospects.
To achieve Microsoft Gold competency, Jaama completed a rigorous series of tests to prove its level of technology expertise.
The fast-growing company has an established reputation for cutting-edge technology innovation since launching more than a decade ago, and its strong focus on new software development throughout last year continues in 2016.
Jaama strengthened its software development team last year with the promotion of Stuart Mills to the newly-created role of development director.
Mr Mills is responsible for Jaama’s products and development team, which in the past year has been significantly expanded with the recruitment of a further 12 software developers and a business analyst. The growth will continue this year with a plan to take the department count to more than 30.
Jaama managing director Martin Evans said: “Jaama is proud to have achieved gold application development competency in the Microsoft Partner Network. The achievement demonstrates the company’s ability to meet customers’ evolving needs in today’s fast-moving business operating environment.”
To achieve accreditation, Jaama had to demonstrate that it employed Microsoft Certified Professionals, complete a rigorous series of tests and submit a number of client references.
Furthermore, the company conducted a complete review of customer services and introduced a range of further enhancements to demonstrate its commitment to the satisfaction of clients.
Microsoft Gold competency demonstrates best-in-class capability within a specific Microsoft solution area.
Jaama’s achievement in gaining accreditation signifies to the fleet and asset management sector, which includes the plant and tool hire market, that it has demonstrated the highest level of skill and achievement within its technology specialisation.
All Microsoft competencies are designed to help differentiate a partner company’s specific technology capabilities, helping customers find solution providers quickly and easily. Each competency has a unique set of requirements and benefits, formulated to accurately represent the specific skills and services that partners bring to the industry in which they operate.
Mr Evans said: “We know that Key2 is industry-leading and Microsoft Gold competency demonstrates not only the quality of our software but proof that Jaama is a best-in-class business.”
