PRESS RELEASE: Makita's New 4-Stroke Back-Pack Blower Has Even More Air Flow Volume

The new Makita EB7660TH back-pack blower has increased air flow and air speed, with the maximum power output speed from the innovative Makita MM4 75.6cc 4-stroke engine increased to 7,200rpm. Maximum air flow volume is raised to 20m³/min and the maximum air speed velocity increased to 92m/s. Vibration has been reduced to 3.5m/s² with the engine mounted on four damper springs effectively isolating the engine and fan to reduce vibration on the operator’s back, even during long hours of use. The back-pack carry frame has a comfortable harness with adjustable straps. The long telescopic pipe and nozzle gives accurate control of the airflow, and the extended distance from the nozzle to the throttle grip avoids the static electric shock risk created by the air exiting the nozzle.
This latest Makita back-pack blower, which replaces the EB7650TH model, is powered by the MM4 4-stroke engine which delivers 3.0Kw of power; has a diaphragm carburettor for total reliability; and a decompression valve and primer pump for easy starting. It is highly sustainable with environmentally friendly low noise output, has exceptionally low fuel consumption and low exhaust emissions in compliance with EPA Phase 2 and EU stage 2 regulations. An anti-icing valve directs air warmed by the exhaust to prevent the carburettor icing up in cold environments.
Weighing just 10.9kg without fuel, the new Makita EB7660TH back-pack blower is a hardworking and technically superior machine for the professional landscape maintenance contractor.
