PRESS RELEASE: Laois Hire and MHM Plant Combie in Ireland

MHM Plant the fast expanding supplier of generators, lighting and welding machinery principally to the hire industry, has extended their operations with the appointment of Laois Hire as their dealer for the Republic of Ireland.

Laois Hire have already stocked up with a line of MHM generators from 5.0 to 25.0 kVA and a fleet of welders up to 300 amps. The company will maintain a stock of MHM fast moving, popular products typically being 6 and 10kVA generators alongside Mighty Midget and 200amp petrol welders.

In the first instance, Laois Hire was drawn to the quality of the MHM products, citing the high quality of the manufacture and the attractive finish of all of the MHM sets. This, combined with very competitive price points on the machines, made a very appealing aggregation to the Laois Hire management.

Commenting on this arrangement, Conor Stafford, Branch Manager at Laois Hire Dublin said, “Overall our experience with MHM has been second to none. Mat (MHM’s managing director) is extremely knowledgeable about the whole range and is always on the other end of the ‘phone. The guys in the office are the same, very helpful and alert to whatever needs we have. The webchat system in particular is fantastic, any question or price we need is got within minutes!!

“We have also used their re-hire service, especially in the winter time. Last year we took roughly 100 lighting towers to cover orders throughout the season,” added Conor.

Laois Hire was established over 20 years ago and is now a leading plant and tool hire company in Ireland. They provide a comprehensive range of services from plant machinery and tools to highly specialised equipment. They currently have seven depots from Galway in the west, Enniscorthy, Co. Wexford in the South and in the capital Dublin. Portlaoise, Athy, Portarlington and Rathconnell cover the areas in between. They deliver throughout Ireland.

MHM Plant was incorporated in February 2010 and operate nationwide. MHM West is located in South Wales and MHM North in Coatbridge, Scotland. A London depot, MHM South, is almost ready to go. The company has recently invested over £5m (€5.6m) in their exclusive rehire fleet dedicated to the UK and Irish rental markets.
