PRESS RELEASE: Focus On Customer Satisfaction Wins Top Honours At Hire Industry Excellence Awards

It was customer focus and attention to key performance indicators (KPI) topped by strong corporate and fleet identity that won Alfasi Hire top honours as Rental Company of the Year at this year’s Hire Industry Excellence Awards.

According to industry judge, Bernie Kiekebosch: “The Alfasi Hire operation is very slick in terms of its overall presentation of the yard, the office and front counter and its fleet identity. Certainly Alfasi Hire ticked all the boxes by showing strong customer focus; regular, routine measurement of KPIs; and presentation of the business to customers through attention to service, maintenance and support.”

Competition for the Hire Industry Excellence Awards is always high with rigorous assessment and appraisal from the independent judging panel which follows an established set of criteria pertinent to the industry and market.

“Nominees are assessed by the judges across almost 50 criteria ranging from
presentation, to systems and procedures, OHS compliance, community involvement and customer testimonials,” HRIA (Hire and Rental Industry Association) CEO James Oxenham said.

All the winners of the 2016 Hire Industry Excellence Awards were announced at the culmination of HIRE16 - the HRIA National Convention on the Gold Coast, 5-6 May, 2016.

“There is always strong competition for hire’s highest accolade, winning Rental Company of the Year,” James Oxenham said.

“There are major benefits for every company taking the time and effort to participate in the awards.

“Finalists all say they increased their business and saw increased respect from their existing customer base for their achievement.

“Just by completing a presentation, you have the opportunity to investigate and analyse your company’s Key Performance Indicators,” Mr Oxenham said.

“Entering the awards is comparative to an industry benchmarking program; it is a comparison between entrant businesses and provides an excellent system of feedback.”
