Following on from their victory in the UK Green Apple Awards in 2017, AJC EasyCabin has now received international honours by the Green Organisation.
The Luton based, temporary accommodation and site welfare unit manufacturer, has been granted a Green World Environment Award.
Soon to be internationally recognised, AJC’s sustainable and innovative systems, which provide the power to their units, are designed to substantially reduce carbon fuel consumption, lower emissions and utilise battery and renewable energy.
They competed against more than 500 other nominations in the Green World Awards for Environmental Best Practice, and they will be presented with their trophy and certificate at a glittering presentation in Ankara, Turkey on September 17, 2018.
Accepting this award, AJC EasyCabin’s managing director, Jav Samsa said, “Naturally we were honoured to receive the first award, particularly as we were competing against some famous brands. This further accolade is another testament to our design, production and marketing teams’ ingenuity in helping to save the world’s natural resources.”
AJC EasyCabin designers pledge to continue to keep environmental constructs at the centre of their procedures.
Their winning paper will be published in The Green Book, the leading international work of reference on environmental best practice, so that others around the world can follow their example and learn from their achievement.
The awards are organised by The Green Organisation, an international, independent, non-political, non-profit environment group dedicated to recognising, rewarding and promoting environmental best practice around the world. They are supported by the Environment Agency, the Chartered Institute of Environmental Health, the Chartered Institution for Wastes Management and other independent bodies.
The Green Apple Awards began in 1994 and have become established as the country’s major recognition for environmental endeavour among companies, councils, communities and countries.
