PRESS RELEASE: Pramac-Generac UK Announces Excting Plans for New Central Location

Pramac-Generac UK will be opening and moving to a new location later this year as the company announced exciting plans to move to a national hub and distribution centre.

The new premises will see the company relocate from its dual locations in Milton Keynes and Crewe to one central site at Tunstall Arrow business park, Stoke-on-Trent.

The new premises, located near JCT16 on the the M6, will enable Pramac-Generac UK to bring together its operations and further strengthen its aspirations for future expansion over the next ten years.

The opening of the new site in late 2018 will mark a key milestone in each of the company’s histories which merged together to form Pramac-Generac UK at the start of the year.

David Oates, Managing Director said: “We have undergone consistent growth in the UK and we feel this new site will elevate and strengthen our market leading product brands which remains a key focus and is critical to our UK strategy. Tunstall Arrow will provide a modern facility to invite our customers, partners and suppliers, as well as deliver state of the art training and aftermarket support to meet the needs of our expanding customer base in the UK and Ireland.”

Tunstall Arrow is a prime site which benefits from having excellent accessibility and roadside profile. The 21,000sq ft premises will include warehouse and secure yard storage facilities for Pramac-Generac UK, along with contemporary office space to support the company’s expanding service, parts, administration, sales and marketing teams.

David continued: “ We will be fully operational over the next few months and our focus will be on our customers to ensure they continue to receive quality service and product availability. We are very excited about the new location and there is no better way to kick start the new year than with a new building.”

The move will enable the business to scale-up and build on the firm foundations it has set over the last 20 years, serving several sectors including hire, rail, construction and infrastructure markets with power generation, materials handling, mobile lighting and dust suppression equipment.

Simon Peters, development director at Network Space, said: “We’ve had strong interest in Tunstall Arrow throughout the construction period and now that we’re due to complete phase one, we are delighted to have Pramac-Generac UK on board.”

Tunstall Arrow has been developed by Network Space who will also continue to own and manage the scheme moving forward. All units have been built by Caddick Construction to a high specification and come with self-contained yards as well as office space. Three out of the five units have already been leased prior to completion.
