Following yesterday’s tragic incident in Berlin involving an HGV, the Metropolitan Police Service and the office of the National Coordinator Protect and Prepare have sent a joint communication advising that they “are aware of, and are monitoring, the incident that has taken place in Berlin, Germany on 19 December 2016.” If there is further information from relevant authoritative sources that members need to be made aware of we will send updates via enews, as appropriate.

Members should note the Anti-Terrorist Hotline incident reporting number, 0800 789 321, which can be used by anyone who sees anything suspicious.
