News Item: The Small Business Leadership Programme Helps Companies Stay Resilient
The Small Business Leadership Programme is a fully-funded learning initiative aimed at business managers, with the objective of helping companies grow and remain resilient and productive after the impact of Covid-19.
The learning programme is delivered by experts in small business through a consortium of leading business schools. These establishments are accredited by the Small Business Charter (SBC) and in turn supported by the Department for Business, Energy & Industrial Stragegy.
Participants in the programme will be put through learning modules to help develop strategic skills including: employee engagement, innovation, finance, sustainable practices, operational efficiency and marketing.
The programme:
- is free
- runs for 10 weeks
- is delivered in manageable modules to minimise disruption to busy schedules
- is delivered online (to begin with)
To be eligible your business must:
- be based in England
- have been operating for at least one year
- be an SME (with 5 to 249 employees)
The programme of learning, which would cost upwards of £5,000 per delegate, is completely free. Some courses have already started while others are planned for the new year. To find out more and get registered visit the website here.
