News Item: Supporting Construction to Recovery with CITB

The Construction Industry Training Board (CITB) is running a series of virtual employer events which will explore, among other things, how they propose to assess companies for CITB Levy over the next three years.

The Supporting Construction to Recovery sessions will invite discussion on what the industry feels are the areas of greatest need for employers; how to develop skills and training in the best interests of their business while ensuring the wider construction industries, which includes plant, tool and equipment hire, are supported.

The events will also advise how levy-registered employers can participate in consultation on Levy Proposals for years 2022-25. Participants will have a say on the areas of support which are being proposed for construction businesses.

The events, listed below, are open to all CITB Levy registered employers, there are two sets of events specific to Scotland and Wales. HAE would urge members that are CITB Levy registered to attend the sessions, have your say on the matters being discussed, and ultimately help inform how CITB is needed to support our sector.
