Site Equip appoints new director Adam Gilbert as of 1st June 2020! Site Equip is the leading supplier of welfare and sanitation to the events and construction industries, since 1988.
Adam joined Site Equip full time in 2015, after previously working part-time during summer holidays, delivering and collecting for one of our most prestigious clients the Ministry of Defence. Following that his first dabble into event management was organising the deployment of portable toilets for the Olympic Torch Parade across counties in 2012, a huge logistical challenge! Nowadays he oversees all the sales of all four brands; Site Equip, Site Waste, Site Build, and Site Event, but his heart lies in the event industry, negotiating large prestigious contracts and project managing those on-site.
During his time at Site Equip Adam's achievements include being selected as 'Access All Areas 30 Under 30', growing the events division by 150% over three years and designing and developing seven environmentally-friendly market leading products; the three and six bay vacuum pods, six and ten bay shower pods, a large event urinal system, vacuum urinal pod, and disabled wet room.
Adam commented: "I am honoured to be given the title of Director and to join the board in negotiating Site Equip forward through this challenging business environment. Over the past few years, we have established a clear strategy in how to develop Site Equip into a larger brand and build on our high levels of customer service. I'm surrounded by a very talented and hardworking team across all levels of the business which has given me the confidence that we will pass through this period of uncertainty and come out the other side stronger than ever."
Following a tough start to the year with the coronavirus pandemic, Adam has diversified the product range to include hand sanitiser stations, secured major long term hire contracts with key government bodies, major event management companies and launched the Site Equip E-Commerce website, still keeping the company's core principles of investment, innovation, and trailblazing. Adam is also very ambitious to increase not only Site Event’s products, but also its coverage area; with the increase in major and large events for which he has negotiated contracts, new depots will be opening up across England including spearheading a third depot in North London opening in late 2020.
