News Item: Preparing for the New UKCA Mark

From the 1st January 2023, the new UKCA marking rules, replacing the current CE mark, will come into force. The new UKCA mark is used for certain goods being placed on the market in Great Britain.

To aid with the transition, BEIS is running a series of webinars to advise and help businesses understand the process of adopting the UKCA safety marking.

The next webinar will be held on Tuesday 18th January and focuses on businesses who are involved in the manufacture or supply of CE (soon to be UKCA) marked goods on the GB market. The webinar will explain the roles and responsibilities of those involved in the supply of goods that require the UKCA marking and how roles may have changed following the UK’s exit from the EU.
