News Item: HAE EHA's NVQ Assessment Centre Audit
HAE EHA is a recognised Assessment Centre delivering National Vocational Qualifications (NVQs). In order to ensure the highest standards and quality are continually achieved the assessment centre is audited on an annual basis. On Thursday 26th August, HAE EHA's third audit took place, supported by HAE EHA's Internal Quality Assurance (IQA) Auditor and an External Quality Assurance (EQA) Auditor from the Awarding Body NOCN (National Open College Network).
The audit process examines the assessment centre policies for managing training personnel, resources and equipment, ensuring that learners are correctly assessed and progress is monitored.
The audit covers all NVQ learner portfolios, which are checked to confirm correct procedures are followed, resulting in certificates of completion being issued to delegates. The audit also ensures the trainee submissions and evidence on NVQ programmes is in-line with national standards and that thorough checks are carried out on the work submitted.
As a result of the recent audit, six learners have qualified through the HAE EHA Assessment Centre across all three qualification programmes; Hire Desk New Entrant Programme, Management and Leadership Programme and ServiceTech. The EQA Auditor commented; "The centre's sample has shown that HAE EHA is continuing to meet NOCN-Cskills Awards requirements as an approved centre."
