News Item: HAE EHA Working with CITS to Prevent Crime in the Hire Industry

HAE EHA is working with the Combined Industries Theft Solutions forum (CITS) to help prevent and reduce the effects of crime in the hire industry. CITS is a not-for-profit organisation that works to understand the latest trends in crime in the hopes to help reduce and prevent it.

Mark Bradshaw, HAE EHA Public Affairs Manager, is part of the CITS board and says: "Working together has never been so important if we are to tackle theft and fraud in the construction industry, and from our perspective, the hire and rental sector. CITS provides a useful forum within which to share information, good practice and liaise with insurance, policing and contractor colleagues."

Information is the key to helping reduce the effects of crime in our industry. If you know of any fraudulent activity or theft in your area, please report it to us by emailing crimeassistance@hae.org.uk.
