After the news of the restructure, Hire Association Europe and Event Hire Association (HAE EHA) have employed a number of new members of staff to join the association in supporting members and the hire industry as a whole.
We are delighted to announce the appointment of Simon Rainer, the new Director of Customer Services and Products (DCSP), who starts on May 4th 2021.
Prior to taking this position, Simon was CEO of a leading Midlands based trade association, looking after the interests of over 1000 members in the manufacturing sector. He held a Directorship with an International Standards organisation, was a member of a BSI working group, and was Vice President of a commission within a worldwide trade Federation. He also became a Freeman of the City of London in 2019.
This new role aims to deliver greater membership engagement and the provision of new products and services to meet the needs of existing and new members across HAE and EHA.
As part of the forward-thinking strategy developed by the HAE EHA Board, Simon will take responsibility for the teams within the Customer Service and Learning & Development departments.
