News Item: ERA Convention and Awards to Go Ahead as Covid Rules Ease

The European Rental Association (ERA) has confirmed that the ERA Convention 2021 and European Rental Awards are going ahead at full capacity, and will take place on the 29th and 30th September.

The announcement follows the Dutch government outlining new changes to Covid-19 restrictions in the Netherlands, including removing the requirement to quarantine for vaccinated UK visitors.

The new changes relevant to the Convention and Awards are: 

• No quarantine requirements for fully vaccinated travellers from non EU/ Schengen countries (such as UK and US) 
• Indoor events with seating can take place at full capacity, without social distancing
• Attendees will need a valid Coronavirus ticket (QR Code) in order to enter. 

A Coronavirus ticket can be in the form of an EU Digital Coronavirus Certificate (obtained by proof of vaccination, recovery, or a negative test). Attendees without an EU Digital Coronavirus Certificate will need to take a Covid-19 test in the Netherlands before the event (and receive their QR code this way).
