News Item: EHA Launches New E-Learning Platform for Event Hire Members
Throughout the COVID-19 pandemic the carefully laid-out operational plans of our members, their clients and the wider public have been turned upside down. During this period, EHA has supported members with the recently published COVID-19 Events Industry Practical Guidance.
EHA is delighted to announce a new Event Hire E-Learning training platform where the first three modules are based on the COVID-19 Events Industry Practical Guidance. If you would like to access the event modules please contact us by clicking here, and our team will register you on the e-learning platform.
Carl Bartlett, Director of Certification Services said; "The event e-learning platform is a great way to up-skill your workforce from a remote location, at a time to suit, fitting in with the busiest of lifestyles. The training modules have been produced following feedback from EHA members and coincide with government guidance".
The modules are on organisational processes and specific event hire, for example catering, furniture and tableware. Additional modules will be introduced to include: temporary structures, tents and marquees, portable sanitation provision/services, audio visual, power generation, site services, trackways, barriers, perimeter fencing, hoardings etc. and heating, ventilation and air conditioning (HVAC).
Anyone interested in the e-learning programme will be required to work through the guide and complete three modules including the end of module assessments. Those who complete will gain a Certificate of Achievement from EHA. The programme is free for members.
