HAE member Hire Access has completed the process for becoming fully SafeHire Certified just six months after joining the association and starting the audit process! The pass was awarded by HAE following the assessment carried out by SafeHire Assessor Jim Maccall, who was very impressed with their operation in Harold Wood, Essex.
"A SafeHire pass can only be recorded if no more than three non-conformances are identified", Jim explained; “As a first audit the result at Hire Access was exceptional, with only one minor non-conformance which was addressed during my visit.”
Gillian Rutter, Director at Hire Access said; “I mentioned to Gill Bridger, HAE EHA Operations and SafeHire Scheme Manager, how nice it is to deal with an association that is there to help and guide, not just send registration fees.”
The SafeHire team has recommended Hire Access pursue the CHAS accreditation too (which is automatic for SafeHire members) once their certificate is registered.
Hire Access is the first PASMA member company to be awarded SafeHire Certification following the Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) put in place between HAE and PASMA. The purpose of the MOU is that the HAE SafeHire Certification scheme of assessment and audit will be developed by the addition of specific requirements in respect of rental of mobile access towers to meet the PASMA criteria for its hirer/dealer members.
