A 17% increase in its international sales during the past two years has led to AFI achieving a placing in the 2016 Sunday Times HSBC International Track 200 league table.
AFI was placed 196th and was a new entrant in the league table, which ranks Britain’s mid-market private companies with the fastest-growing international sales.
With a turnover of more than £63m, AFI employs over 500 staff and operates internationally through its Access Rental Gulf (ARG) business in the Middle East. ARG has two depots in Saudi Arabia, one in Dubai and a recently opened base in Qatar. Powered access machines from ARG are currently helping contractors to build a new terminal at Abu Dhabi International Airport.
AFI Group Finance Director Steve Woodhams said: “We are delighted to have gained our first placing in this prestigious table. We have recently made a substantial investment in expanding our overseas operations and we see great potential for further carefully managed growth.”
