Hire Desk Sales Training Programme

This one-day course is designed to improve the sales and up-selling effectiveness of those individuals stationed at the hire counter or front desk. It outlines and provides a system which will enable candidates to extract the maximum potential from each of their phone calls or face-to-face client interactions.

Prior to the session all delegates are telephoned by a mystery shopper. The call is recorded and analysed, enabling the trainer to focus the session on any perceived areas for improvement (also to provide examples of well handled sales equiries). The trainer will examining in-call behaviour, assertiveness, the ability to record information and seek the client’s explicit requirements. From this point the group will devise and document a process map which, if used, will project a professional approach to the clients.

Who should attend?
Individuals who are working on the hire desk or shortly to move into the role. It will be excellent for new or seasoned team members, as the group interaction will benefit and accelerate learning potential.

The price per person is £200 plus VAT. However, for a limited time only, companies in-scope and registered with CITB can book delegates on the course for £50 plus VAT.
