Mental Health Awareness Week Day 1 - CONNECT
Connecting to people is about relating and feeling understood by others. Evidence suggests that feeling close to or valued by others is a fundamental human need. For people of all ages, social relationships are crucial for wellbeing and can often improve our mental health.
Things to do to connect:
- Talk to someone instead of sending an email
- Speak to someone new / you don’t speak to usually
- Ask a question and really listen to the answer
- Put five minutes aside to find out how someone really is
